Status Updates From Heir (Heir Duology, #1)

Sadly, I dove into this book thinking it was a duology. I had no idea it was in the same world as, “The Embers in the Ashes.”

I keep having to stop and reread. I know they say it can be read as a stand alone. However, I’m struggling and really want to DNF. It’s currently very confusing and there hasn’t been much world building and I’m assuming that’s explained in the other books. 😅

Aiz’s pov is building its stance in my opinion but it’s truly not as good as Sirsha’s or Quil’s. Maybe not yet.
