The problem with this book is you need to have knowledge and consumed all content of Star Wars canon and expanded universe to fully enjoy this book.

I knew that this was going to be great when the author included an in-universe explanation for why he chose to use the "Before/After Battle of Yavin" dating system rather than (my preferred) "After Endor" system. This is both a brilliant deep cut for long-time SW fans and precisely the type of thing that historians talk about when justifying why they do or don't use the "Common Era" system.

Loved the concept at first but it’s starting to drag on now
