Oh goodness this writing is truest awful and I've only read three chapters and SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED and yet nothing has happened and Mae's inner dialogue is just horrible and scattered, I really don't know how or if I'll be able to finish this...

Not sure if I like the writing style/narrator of the book. It feels a little young for me. Fortunately the plot makes me want to keep going.
