My topic is visualize. The story describes so far how the character Adam Eddington makes his way to Portugal. I can visualize what Portugal looks like when it says, "Ugly apartments crowded upon beautiful old houses with walled gardens... There were many billboards of American products like Pepsi-cola, Coca-cola, and toothpaste." This helps me visualize what the city of Madrid looks like and how it surprised Adam.

I am a weak argument away from giving up on these O'Keefe Family books and skip right to An Acceptable Time. When L'Engle writes in her practical, non-preachy way, she is amazing. But when she tries writing forced thriller, mystery or religion, then she just sounds so... I have the words but am afraid to speak them lol
