Status Updates From The Dread Descendant

This is the most revolting sex scene ive read especially to be considered romance 🤢 also wtf?!? Why would the thing they need to do be have sex 🙄

At no point has this book been particularly amazing but just now, Mal has rescued her and while shes gone upstairs to bathe after 4 DAYS of capture, this man has followed her to her room to make out and ubbottom her pants and drool over her! She was passed out 2 days, drugs, hit, ate less than 2 full meals, dueled, and dude cant even let her shower first. THEN has the gall to tell her to shower AFTER he got her going

*sigh* I can’t continue with this. The dialogue is not capturing my attention. I understand that this is a Tom Riddle & Hermione fanfic turned into an original work but there are too many Harry Potter mechanics and elements in the book in my opinion. It just feels to predictable, and I’m not invested in the characters.

Weeeeellll… I guess we’re villains now….

This book feels like a HP knockoff:

- magical school they travel to
- library has a restricted section
- all students stay in a castle with dorm rooms
- magical object chooses their house/area of studies
- dueling with magic
- alchemy class = potions class
- dark magical wizard wants to take over the magical community
- wizard’s chess
- pure blood magical families
- enchanted parchment = tom riddle’s diary
