Dnf in the first chapter - 13 straight minutes of info dump

Must have missed the fact that this is a gay smut book. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not my kind of book. DNF

Narration of big showdown way too dramatic, hard to take seriously. Also, too many sex scenes.

The voice the narrator puts on during sexy scenes is so weird... like, he's trying for lower and kinda raspy, which I get. But it's also leaning into... idk... trying to sound cool? Edgy superhero monologue? Announcer of some sort? Movie trailer...?

Also, I really like the elf, Hart. I'm assuming it's spelled Hart. Audiobooks should spell every character's name out upon their first introduction lol.

Kissing too soon for how long the book is

Hnn Mason's voice is a little too... cartoony? Like. VERY cartoon orc. And unfortunately, very unattractive. Also go figure that in one of the few mm romances with a black LI, he's been transformed into an orc of all things. At least we've been getting some racial commentary, so I'd assume that was either a) purposeful and holds meaning in itself, or b) a complete oversight and means absolutely nothing.

Re-reading/ listening. Comfort, cozy, spooky 👻 what more could I want.
