picking this back up after eight months did not even vaguely ease the pain! i've continually thought about it. god my heart hurts.

Ah, that last part is the most painful but I guess it also explains a lot..

This is really good so far! I was worried it would be a bit too lyrical to the point of losing meaning but it toes that edge skillfully - the writing is poetic but the messages are coming through clearly. It's a beautiful meditation on social exclusion, forbidden love and pure love, queerness, maybe even the meaning of life..
