D polishing his rare coins to lose one by mistake for the kids. Long journey & funny twist by the end
Donald's Bay Lot (4.5 Stars)
D buys a cabin by the sea which is a disaster..so he creates a bay for it
Thievery Afoot (3.5 Stars)
A mouse in D's apartment turn his life into holed hell

Then at last Story Notes showing the development of Barks stories.

Camera Crazy (3 Stars)
D & the kids compete to get the best News Photo. with D cheating as usual & get what he deserves
Farragut the Falcon (3 Stars)
D gets a wild falcon as present & try to make use of it
The Purloined Putty (3 Stars)
D & Jones his neighbor fight over a 10 cent worth of Putty
High-Wire Daredevils (3 Stars)
D is obsessed with high wire walking after seeing the kids doin it

Kite Weather (5 Stars)
The kids & D don’t want to get beaten in Kite contest by girls. Funniest twist ever.
Three Dirty Little Ducks (3.5 Stars)
The kids avoiding bath at any cost but had unexpected one by the end.
The Mad Chemist (3.5 Stars)
Hit in the head with chemical exp.; D invents Rocket Fuels & fly to the moon.
Rival Boatmen (4 Stars)
D & the kids compete in who rent his boat first

Good Neighbors (4.5 Stars)
Donald & his neighbor Jones (I guess it's his first appearance) made a friendly peace but didn't last long because of a ball.

Salesman Donald (3 Stars)
Donald sell Egg Beaters for the kids' sakes for a prize which gone wrong.

Snow Fun (3 Stars)
Skiing over a top of a mountain gone wrong for Donald.

The Duck in the Iron Pants (4 Stars)
Snow fight with the kids.

The Hard Loser (4 Stars)
Donald and the kids on a horse ride race but Donald just keep cheating to have a surprise in the end by the race's judges

Too Many Pets (3.5 Stars)
The kids have replaced all the pets they got with a monkey who Donald approved for at first but rejected later because a strange trick. This trick saved them from a notorious thief.

Frozen Gold (4 Stars)
The first story in the volume which named after. Good story in the snowy north Donald in a heroic mission that went dangerous with Pete who appears again after The Pirate Gold from the previous volume.
