Very spicy, no plot outside of that though and writing is mediocre at best.. too much internal dialogue and jokes spun into serious moments that ruin the vibe and make me cringe.

Not loving that everything is in past tense. I do like how both sides are shown, but the quickly-evolving touching is strange. Weird that Abigail immediately trusts this man and doesn’t get freaked out when he touches her in the first few hours together, knowing NOTHING about him.

I’m really close to DNFing this

The ability to have insight to Abagail’s inner monologue is incredibly helpful when you have a neurodivergent character.

Also I’m not sure what it is about Elias but he feels like a warm hug.
