9/26/26 At first I was intrigued by Brooke’s character and could find immediate similarity in her desire to understand herself, her career, her future, her contribution to the world. Then I found myself relating more but in a negative way, her way of narrow-minded and selfish thought. Sort of her life is more than others. As she gets closer to Jafee she gets more like this. The opposite direction of where I want.

Is this whole book rlly just leading up to Brooke hooking up with Asher so he'll buy her an apartment lol ?

Giving this book a 2nd chance. I picked it up before but it didn't hold my attention, having a similar experience the 2nd time around but going to push through
