Chapter 13: read 12 before bed

Chapter 12
Sometimes the wordage is tricky since it is from medieval times and also not coming from the character’s own perspective. I keep having to go back and reread things a couple of times in order to understand what is being said.

So far it’s really good. It’s cute. A little tricky for me to understand sometimes and have to go back since it’s not a POV. It’s a narrator but a narrator POV for Emily and then another narrator POV for Griffin.

So far this book is really campy and funny, I’m liking it

so sorry but the facts that are being dropped as 'groundbreaking' would make any person even remotely interested in western art history smack their foreheads. No way would anyone in the ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO be amazed by the main character knowing that the medieval period liked color.... Should have had her work at a small town museum with little funding…
