Status Updates From Hidden Libraries: The World...

So many fascinating libraries in here. I wish all the libraries with ancient books never again face a purge or any other kind of destruction. Seeing how much knowledge has been destroyed throughout history is so sad.

My top priority dead languages to learn:
Akkadian cuneiform (currently working on rn. The Library of Ashurbanipal isn't done expanding just cause they finished excavations in the 1910s. We can still write more tablets to fill up those shelves!)
Mayan (next up after I master writing in Akkadian. This dead language desperately needs more written works, as there are only 4 ancient texts on paper.)

There are only 4 Mayan ancient Mayan books still in existence, because they were mostly all burned by colonists. And this is why I want to learn dead languages to revive them. I want to write in them, to create new works in something so old that time might eventually lose it otherwise.

So many fascinating places. And a few that don't exist anymore.
