So far «Let Slip the Beasts» is a jumbled mess of meaningless metaphors and clichéd dialogue, interspersed with cryptic conversations that I’m guessing are there to pad out this already rather short book. Bordering on comical, the author tries to put in as many metaphors as possible, even where it is completely superfluous and detrimental to the writing.

Excited to read a book that a friend of mine have written. So far, a page turner.
