Very well written as is the way of Jenkins but 100 pages in we jarringly get bodyshaming and coercion into marriage. Why, Jenkins, why? The book is 2014 but the feisty heroine (to compensate for coercion plot) echoes 1970s and 80s romances (Woodiwiss, anyone?).
