Status Updates From A Woman Rice Planter

Though this book has had great reviews, I'm just not in the frame of mind to read it. I'm giving it back to the person who loaned it to me. Maybe someday in the future...

This book was written by a real woman who lived right here on a plantation back in the rice heyday. It was unusual to have a woman in charge of so much land, property, including slaves. The drawings & art work in the book is also from a local artist.
