I'm so confused. Alina and pheobe had some clashing over Alina hanging out with Silas (??). They stopped talking for a chapter and then for next one, they went back to talking like normal. I think I missed what happened (audio) but I'm on pheobe's side.

Silas mentioned that he now understands why his kind keeps humans (like Alina) as pets.... big yikes.

Silas gloating in Victor's face that he spent the night with alina after she rejected him, is another evidence that he doesn't view her as a person but rather something to conquer and possess.

Silas is such a misogynist.

Okay it took a while but I’m actually more invested now. I think it just took a while for them to flush out the characters enough for me to care about them and they are the main driver of this book with the plot being the backdrop… also all I’m gonna say he has spines and yes I mean plural. Let you me imagination go wild
