Status Updates From Even the Queen, & Other Sho...

This story is hilarious so far, if cissexist. (not an excuse, but this story was written over two decades ago. Not all women have periods!)

I have many questions as I start reading ,Connie Willis, ' Even the Queen' . How important is a woman' s menstrual flow to her balanced health? If a woman' s menstrual flow could be as pleasant as sprinkling Tinkerbell ' s fairy magic dust then I choose it. lol If we as Christians are saved by the ' blood of Jesus Christ ' then why isn' t a woman' s period cycle more sacred to us men?

It is possible that this is a good read. however, the narration and terrible musical accompaniment caused me to flee this rendition. I do generally enjoy Connie Willis, just not this version. perhaps I will physically read it and change my mind...
