Status Updates From The King In Yellow

Can I be honest? I’m tempted to not finish this. I really really enjoyed the first few stories that actually had to do with the king in yellow. The horror and political commentary was interesting. Much more so than the latter stories in this anthology. The romance stories and political commentary in the second half really wear on.

Can I say something crazy? The wifies Minecraft reinterpretation was better.

Looooved the church story

I’m going crazy reading this book… teeheehee…

So far it’s good, kinda of a slow start but it’s a very fun read.

Disappointed to realise this collection only includes the first four stories in what’s usually a collection of 8 or so, because the three I’ve read so far have been very fun and very accessible considering when this was published
