to commemorate the fact that i have just ended on pp.69: the titular short story left a big impact on me. it can well be summarised as ‘of daddy issues and love’, but it feels so cathartic reading his sharp, poignant reflection on his relationship with his father. probably the best short story on asian daddy issues i’ve ever read.
