Status Updates From Where Sleeping Girls Lie

i think the book was a bit too long.. it was as though only one thing could happen per chapter and that structure felt repetitive after a while. also what is with the basis of mysteries stemming from someone who “didn’t want to say it in a straightforward way” wtf? and how someone survives with a FRACTURED skull without medical attention???? I appreciate the diverse cast but the plot holes are gapping
