Status Updates From Battle of The Wilds (Empire...

As normal, I'm enjoying the story, and as has become the norm with this series, there are a handful of grammatical errors. But something I've noticed is there are a number of very...weak sentences.

For example:

"X Smiled a knowing smile"

"Those who do follow in the footsteps of the founders of the legacy that rules over our rulers."

I just feel there are much better ways to write sentences like these
