this scene was so hot. it was such a slow burn. they folded

the 'who did this to you?' scene preferably with scars on the back hits every single time. it's so filled with tension, and the touching of the scars.
so perfect.

kind of a slow read. it took really long for me to get into it. but it was so worth it. i loved the tension between arin and sylvia. it was satisfying to read a true enemies to lovers, with actual hate and rage. there was so much deception and i kind of knew what betrayal was supposed to be at the end. the magic tying the whole story together was so unique, the world building was complicated at first but got better.
