Ahmed and Amina submit to their desires and commit to loving each other. This, of course, causes chaos in multiple ways. Ahmed tells the king that he cannot marry his daughter, and an evil sorcerer puts a spell on the princess to try and marry her, but Alina figures out that the sorcerer is connected to them from past lives. Essentially the villain in all lives. They start their journey to the Land of the Free.

The two main characters are “twin flames” or soulmates, which explains why they share dreams and can hear each other’s thoughts. Their dreams are their past lives, and the love that was shared. If Amina wants to pursue her love for Ahmed, they must leave to the Land of the Free, which very few make it to alive.

The POV changes between two main characters, Ahmed and Amina. Ahmed is a respected and handsome commander, and Amina a newly initiated moon priestess. Ahmed was chosen to marry the kings daughter and Amina was unable to ever become intimate with a man as a priestess. But, the two are entangled with having the same dream and feel drawn together like magnets.

The story begins with a dream by our main character, Ahmed. He dreams about a hidden love with a princess. We soon find out that he is a commander to the kings army and is set to battle. After his victory, he dines with the king who confesses that he wishes he marry his daughter, and become the next King.
