possibly the best one so far??

5:29 hours, very fun read with tension and mystery and scoundrels and love. Not the first book I’ve read about a female author writing about politics and the Victorian slums that falls in love with a slum lord gambling den owner in the east end. But a bit different from the last. Forced proximity and all. 3.7/5 stars.
