Status Updates From Bottles & Blades (Eagles Ho...

I got this book on a "stuff your kindle" day, and while it is 1st in the series, it is part of a bigger series. A lot of the characters are from the other series, so without reading those books, it's a bit confusing as to who the others are.

I had no idea there was an age gap of TWO DECADES between the leads and that the h is about the same age as the H’s daughter. That’s not my jam. I stay far away from ‘daddy’s best friend’ trope and while this isn’t that, the age gap is the same cringe. So a no for me for now. Might pick it up later (doubtful).

DNF at 12%. And I do like this author. Just this book is not for me

Okay, I *almost* DNF this book about 30% through.. but I have heard good things, so I pushed on, and now 60% through I'm glad I did. It's good, but I'm struggling to connect.. I will update when I'm done!
