Hey look, a new cover!

Not gonna lie, I love this new cover by Fay Lane. It really suits the story within. The timing of the new cover becoming available lined up pretty well with me doing a reread and I’ve got to say I’m enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. Every writer, artist, and musician tends to be their own worst critic. But I’m finding my first book to be an easy and accessible read.

It’s hard not to edit in my head as I reread my old work. Part of me wants to go in and tighten up the odd sentence here and there, while the other part wants to leave it as is. This is an accurate representation of the writer I was in 2016-17 when I wrote this. I know how much I’ve grown as a writer and can see it in my later work. And the story still hits all the right notes.
