Status Updates From Split the Sky

I picked this up at the African American Museum in Washington DC. As I always try to find black authors and read their books, this one caught my eye. I read their back of it and just the quotes alone from what was in the book had me hooked. I decided to finally pick it up and start reading it and I’m already half through the book in 4 hours. I’m excited to see what the other half has for me to read.

This book is captivating! Blew through the first 5 chapters on night one and only stopped because I fell asleep reading late at night.
