PROTAGONIST - The protagonist or main character of my book is Benjamiah Creek. I can tell that Benjamiah is the protagonist because the book is written from his point of view. The story is told from whatever Benjamiah experiences, it is his adventure, therefore, he is the protagonist.
Benjamiah is a shy, lonely eleven year old boy who finds himself in a magical world, he loves books, and they are his only friends.

The setting of The Whisper wicks takes place in a magical realm called Wreathenwold. The main character, Benjamiah lives in a place called Wyvern on the Water, which is not magical and takes place on Earth. He gets lost in Wreathenwold and the majority of the book takes place in Wreathenwold. The book takes place in the common era. I can identify this because back on Earth, Benjamiah describes things as modern.

My book is a fantasy book, since it includes magic, mythical creatures, and monsters. It is also an adventure book because the Benjamiah gets lost in a labyrinth and has to go on an adventure to get back home. It is also about magic, because Ben can cast spells and make dolls turn into creatures.

This book is about a kid who doesn't believe in magic. This is until he gets a doll as a gift from his parents. Soon he discovers that the doll is magical and can transform into a bird. This book is a fantasy, fiction, adventure novel.
