It’s been a couple weeks since I last read a comic book issue, and it’s been over a month since I was reading comics on a regular basis. But that’s alright—there are more important things in life.

I’ve loved every single comic I’ve read so far, and I’ve read a lot of them in just a short time. But fittingly, this is the most swift-paced origin story I’ve seen. The authors waste no time getting Barry Allen into the red costume. The Human Thunderbolt, the Scarlet Speedster, the Human Whirlwind!

It’s crazy how much of Flash’s lore and villains were developed so early into his existence, also the running gag of Barry always being late to things will never not be funny
