Status Updates From Isaac's Song

Continues to blow me away and find connection with Isaac and his internal struggles from childhood and through beginning self acceptance in young adulthood as he moves away. Really loving the story of relationship between Isaac and parents and the family dynamics and how parent’s pasts inform the way they parent.

Started the audiobook on airplane to Ohio for Christmas as I forgot my copy at home. Got to Session 5. I can connect in so many ways to Isaac’s story as a child while having a very difference experience in how my parents raised me as a queer child without knowing it. This is a beautifully written story so far. It feels like a memoir or autobiography.
