Just one wuestion do far: It the kegends say that the Werewolfs are the protectors of the people, why are thd people also se them as "vilest of crearures"?

the plot is pissing me off because it will allude to something then change directions. I hate it when all the side characters knows vital information but the main character doesn’t and then the main character start doing dumb things and trusting people that would hurt them because the other’s character are lying to them.that is what happening and i hate it
