Status Updates From The Divine Comedy

Just finished Inferno; now on to Purgatorio. My god. Dante's descriptions of the levels of Hell are truly frightening. The account from the man who was eating another man's head really brought home the way people can and do create hell on earth for the living. The last two cantos of Inferno have left me feeling shaken and horrified. What a phenomenal work.
