Status Updates From Dragon Ball, Vol. 1

My first Shonen. Definitely feels like a Journey to the West retooling but the art and characters are pretty charming. (I always forget Goku was 14 here). The pervy moments were pretty abundant and a little gratuitous early on in the manga but it does slow down later which is nice. Early Dragon Ball is still a cute escape that has sustained its place in pop culture for like 40 years now.
