Status Updates From The House of Broken Bricks

This is dragging for me. I find it difficult to be engage despite understanding the theme. Being a daughter of an immigrant, Williams captures so many nuances that come with that category. Even more when you marry someone with a different race.

The problem is have is I get the point so I am apathetic to what happens.

This is my local bookclub's pick for February. Set in England, I appreciate Williams rich description of nature. Told through 4 POVs, we see how the family dynamic has changed and its impact on the husband and wife and their twins. The narrative style changes depending on which POV we are reading from, which is an interesting style choice.
