Status Updates From DC Finest - Aquaman: The Ki...

While there’s not much action and fist-fighting, the Silver Age Aquaman comics are a perfect introduction to the mythos of Arthur Curry for readers (like myself) who are unfamiliar with him and his stories. He can’t live outside water for very long and he’s known as the Marine Monarch.

No Aquaman! Don’t help Aqualad cheat on his school entrance exam by commanding fish to swim in the shapes of the correct answers!! He’s corrupting the youth!! How did this get past the Comic Codes Authority!

Aquaman can talk to fish.

Aquaman can swim upstream, which includes house drainage pipes during torrential rainfall. Very unique and unheard of to me.

Excited about this book! One thing’s for sure, Aquaman is very different from Superman and Wonder Woman. But different is good!
