Good start! Seems to be dealing with deeper topics than some fo the other fantasy books out there and I like it, definitely feels thought through. As always I struggle with the world building it’s a lot of info in a short amount of time but it’s well done and really catchy too! Can’t wait to see where it goes. Also I’m sorry but I have to picture effy as a brunette or I will go into psychosis oopsies
