Status Updates From The Downstairs Girl

I really enjoy the book but the ending def feels a bit unresolved.

The book kind of rides the middle between Bridgeton and dealing with serious issues of violence, segregation, discrimination, micro/macro aggression, etc. But at the end of the day it is a YA book so I think the author is trying to make the topic more digestible for younger audiences through this kind of whimsy?

this is the first time I’m reading from an Asian POV for this time period so it’s very interesting
