First impressions: mainline Protestants are doing the "we don't see gender" thing, but in their (our) case it's part of a whole bloodless dissociation from the flesh, or in a more generous interpretation a hyper focus on social justice or things defined as spiritual, to the point that gender roles fade to the background even when in full force. TL;DR we're the urban Time Lords, not the barbarian ones.
