Status Updates From Julius Caesar

Hm hm hm trying to kill his friendship how rude

J'ai 6 livres en cours c'est quoi cette horreur

Why does Mark Antony, who hated Cicero and was basically known for getting drunk and turning up at the Senate after going out on a bender and vomming into someone's cupped robes (thank u Natalie Haynes for that lil tidbit!!), get all the lovely Ciceronian rhetoric?????? while Cicero only gets like 10 lines in the whole play????? Justice for Cicero he would have hated Shakespeare for this 😤

I’ve read Act 4. I have started to dislike Brutus, as his idealistic approach now seems fit only for his own ideals. Cassius, as I’ve thought since Caesar spoke of his character in Act 1, can be gone for all I care. Oh, Caesar.

"Of your philosophy you make no use,
If you give place to accidental evils."

I’m not sure if I have read this already or just know the story too well. oh well !

“bruto amava cesare” ma se shakespeare l’avesse scritto oggi avrebbe fatto baciare cassio e bruto nella prima scena del primo atto
