Every American should have to read this book. Every Israeli should have to read this book. Every person who is not in Gaza. Everyone.

"I changed the order of my books on the shelf. Two days later a war broke out. Beware of changing the order of your books."
This and certain sentences in Frankenstein in Baghdad are so illustrative of just how fucking stupid and pointless and out of nowhere and totally without cause on a human level these fuckass wars are.

This collection of poems gives you Mosabs experience in experiencing first hand the genocide of Palestine in such a raw unfiltered way. Don’t get me wrong, these poems are written well but they speak about loss beyond my ability to make sense of. Haven’t cried for some poems in a long time. It was hard to read. This was really hard to read. My heart ache for Mosab. My heart breaks for Palestine.
