This and certain sentences in Frankenstein in Baghdad are so illustrative of just how fucking stupid and pointless and out of nowhere and totally without cause on a human level these fuckass wars are.

Reading this along with Frankenstein in Baghdad by Ahmed Saadawi while the United States fights a losing war that we started with Iran an Israel continues to commit genocide in Palestine.

this is so beautiful. amazing, really really affecting poetry. and just. WHAT THE FUCK. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS.

This collection of poems gives you Mosabs experience in experiencing first hand the genocide of Palestine in such a raw unfiltered way. Don’t get me wrong, these poems are written well but they speak about loss beyond my ability to make sense of. Haven’t cried for some poems in a long time. It was hard to read. This was really hard to read. My heart ache for Mosab. My heart breaks for Palestine.
