This book is already quite good but I wish Levitin acknowledged that he’s picked one specific cognitive processing framework (which has some circular assumptions) among many instead of speaking about processing and mental representations as absolute fact.

I haven’t read non-fiction in such a long time and now my brain is melting from learning about the brain. This might have to be read in small chunks rather than big reading sessions like my fantasy novels.
