The author says one of his favorite characters is entering the stage in this sequel. I wonder if it's Clay or Jericho. Personally, I'm intrigued by Jericho.

I liked the little recap at the beginning. It brought me right back into the happenings.

Clay and "peril" being mentioned on the same page is funny, if it's on purpose. Something something Cleril.

If I had a nickel for every large, muscular earthen dragon named Clay that I've read, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

There's something extremely weird about my copy. Every single instance of the letters "ft" and "ti" next to each other are replaced with a "�." My screen-reader does NOT like it, so I'm going to have to manually edit the book to fix that, I guess?

The previous two books didn't have this, it's really weird, and I'm not sure what's caused it.
