Status Updates From Lány a háborúban

Girl at War is about Ana a girl affected by the Croatian war. One of her closest friends is on the Serbian side of the war causing them to choose sides. I predict that Ana will return to Croatia and confront the memories she has been avoiding. Ana says, “As we rode away I felt my stomach twist into a knot I would only years later learn to call survivor’s guilt” (Nović 78). She may also try to reconnect with Luka.
