I don't know what Woodrow Wilson was thinking when he wrote this book! While I do agree that good literature should be read with gluttonous abandon, I strongly believe that if the reader finds that work better than good, then he is most obliged to know it as intimately as he knows himself! I find it an insult that Wilson should preclude 'scientific' study of a work!
