I had no idea this profession/job existed, but to read about the experience of a corpse walker... the service and humanity to do this work, but also the practical aspect of it is so uncomfortable and unclean

It's a children's story but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Great historical setting. Fantastic characters. The right amount of mystery. A fantasy elements that bends perfectly with the historical setting.
I'm loving it!
