It is now officially a Horror novel, even if it wasn’t marketed as such. Kind of like Lowland Rider by Chet Williamson, or Gone South by Robert McCammon, Lansdale’s The Nightrunners. Joe Hill’s Horns comes to mind. Anyway, I like it.

Enjoying it. It may not eclipse The Sleep Police by the end, but I like that it's so different and yet still creepy and compelling. I can tell this is going to get wilder and wilder.

The Sleep Police is one of my all-time favourite Thrillers - certainly of the gonzo variety - and I also loved his Horror novel The Black Mariah, another Bonansinga thrill-ride. I know he ended up lending his talent to the Walking Dead line of novels, but when I want a Bonansinga fix, I’m happier to go to something like this.
