Status Updates From Classic Rock Albums: Nirvan...

As much as I like the Bleach EP, I see a stark contrast between the Smart Studio sessions and Nevermind sessions for the same songs - the drumming is a whole 'nother level on the latter. Had Kurt and Krist stuck with Chad, they'd probably have made another Bleach record in Nevermind as opposed to the 5x Platinum certified monster that exists today. I love you, Chad, but Dave was essential for that step up.

I was not aware that Kurt wrote in the studio most of the time. Not sure if I believe it 100%, as with most things regarding him, but it's a good little trivia to add to my book of stories of Kurt Cobain. Also, good to finally read Chad's thoughts on his time with Nirvana.
