The audiobook uses stereotyped older people’s voices. I don’t know anyone that speaks like that. It is very annoying.

first impression: Twenty-year-old Chizu, the narrator, is surprisingly unemphatic and has a detached observational way of looking at herself and the people around her. I hope she reaches some conclusions about her life and determines that it is ok to have some kindness and thanks for those that are helpful in her life.
