Honestly, the story is quite dull so far. MC has no agency and thus no personality. The story feels like it should moving along quite fast with everything going on, but I find the pacing rather slow.

I detest the author's decision to change how they refer to characters. Sometimes by 1st name. Others by last. Some in relation to the MC, but the change makes no sense given the static POV and has made tracking the characters more difficult.
