This book made me realize that the genre "horror" is subjective. And every "horror" book I have been comfortable enough to give 5 stars may have been a 5 star book, but it was not truly horror.
This book had me wincing and my skin crawing for a multitude of reasons. The plot was not the most intriguing, but the book will remain special to me, as it was the first horror book I've given 4 stars.
